The Tampa Bay Rays (13-13 SU, 10-16 ATS) look to get themselves right against the Chicago White Sox (3-22 SU, 9-16 ATS). The White Sox's offense has been simply an abomination this season, as Chicago hits .192 as a team and ranks dead last in batting average, home runs and runs scored. The Sox scoring 11 runs in their past three games against Minnesota represents an offensive explosion by their standards; they've only topped three runs five other times this season.
The Rays ended a three-game slide last time out and seem to be getting Zach Eflin back on track. The right-hander has not given up a run in either of his past two starts, a full 12.1 innings without allowing a run. Eflin got off to an ugly start against Toronto and the Angels, but he's looked much more relaxed since April 8. If he's pitching the way he's capable, this will be another low-scoring day for the Pale Hose.
