The Boston Red Sox will try to continue their mastery over the Tampa Bay Rays in Sunday’s series finale at Fenway Park.

The Red Sox seek a four-game sweep of the Rays after outpitching them in the first three games. Leaning on their terrific pitching that merited them a 1.60 ERA in their last five games, Boston has limited a top-10 offense to only seven runs in 27 innings pitched in the series so far. Outfielder Ceddanne Rafaela also came out clutch, driving in the game-winning run in both Game 1 and Game 2.

The Rays have lost 9 of their first 11 games in July, causing them to fall to the No.4 spot in the brutally competitive American League East standings with a 50-46 record. Averaging 4.8 runs per game in the season, Tampa Bay’s offensive numbers have dropped to 3.2 runs per game in their last five games. Although the Rays are still pitching a respectable 3.70 ERA, home runs have been rare for Tampa Bay in this stretch, as they only average 0.8 homers per game.
