This will be the 1st time these divisional foes will face each other on the season. Boston was 2-6 in the month of May before winning their last 2 games over the Nats. Their latest win, 3-2 on Sunday Brayan Bello picked up his 4th win to get to 4-1 on the season. Ceddanne Rafaela knocked in 2 during the win. After going 5-1 to start the month, the Rays have lost 3 of their last 4. Sunday, they dropped their lates to the Yankees 10-6. They will have Zach Eflin (2-4, 3.75) on the bump for them in this 1st game of the 4-game set. The Sox will counter with Kutter Crawford (2-1, 1.75), who has been strong to start this season. His last start was a true test. He stepped up and held a dynamic Braves lineup to just 2 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings of work. Eflin had an easier time with a White Sox lineup that he was able to hold in check. He went 7 innings and allowed just 1 run on 6 hits.
