There are many friendly matches taking place during this international break. This Friday, Switzerland will face Germany at St. Jakob-Park in Basel. Both nations have already secured their spots in the 2026 World Cup. Having remained undefeated in its six matches in Group B of the European qualifiers, the Nati aims to build confidence ahead of the international tournament. Even though they have not lost in a long time, the team coached by Murat Yakin will nevertheless face a formidable opponent this weekend.

Germany is among the favorites to win next summer’s World Cup. The Mannschaft finished atop Group A of the European qualifiers, winning their last five matches. They are therefore in top form heading into this March international break. Julian Nagelsmann’s men are determined to build even more confidence. Admittedly, it won’t be easy to beat a team that has gone undefeated in their last several matches. However, they have what it takes to come away with at least a draw!
