Both Stuttgart and Feyenoord are considered dark horses in the betting odds to win this Europa League, but after three matches, both are failing to live up to expectations; both are currently outside the qualifying places. The two teams will clash at the MPHArena on Thursday, with the Bundesliga side the heavy favorites.

Although they lost 1-3 to RB Leipzig last weekend, they have won seven of their last ten matches, climbing into the Bundesliga top four. However, their home win against Celta Vigo remains their only European victory this season.

Meanwhile, Robin van Persie's Feyenoord, with two goals from Ueda and one from Steijn, managed to beat Volendam 3-1 at the weekend and reclaim the top spot in Dutch football. They also finally secured a point in the Europa League with a 3-1 victory against Greek side Panathinaikos.
