The St. Louis Cardinals will face off with the Tampa Bay Rays in the final game of a weekend series today at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL. First pitch for this interleague battle is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. EST.

St. Louis got what it needed in the first game on Friday with five runs in the second inning to take a 5-1 lead. Tampa Bay tacked on two more in the third and one in the seventh, but couldn’t close the gap, losing 7-4. They made up for the loss with a 10-6 win last night. The win was highlighted by Carson Williams' first MLB homer, a two-run shot in the seventh that made the score 9-6. Tampa Bay will go with Ryan Pepiot on the mound to start the day.
