The St. Louis Cardinals will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard today when they face the Pirates at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. Fans can follow the action in this NL Central matchup once the game gets underway at 6:40 p.m. EST.

Andrew Heaney and Chase Shugart pitched a shutout for the Pirates in yesterday’s game, giving up four hits and one walk while striking out eight. Pittsburgh’s lineup got to Errick Fedde early with a run in the bottom of the first courtesy of a Spencer Horowitz home run, but chased Fedde after taking on another six runs in the bottom of the fifth. Pittsburgh will try to keep the good times rolling and win their fifth consecutive game with Paul Skenes taking the mound to start the day. Skenes is only 4-7, but has a 2.12 ERA and a .91 WHIP. He has a 2.56 ERA at home, where he is 1-4 in seven starts, and has held teams to .179 OBA. Andre Pallante will get the start for the Cardinals. Pallante is 5-4 with a 4.43 ERA and 1.35 WHIP. He’s 2-2 in eight road starts with a 4.60 ERA.
