On Saturday evening, there's Major League Soccer at Children's Mercy Park, where Sporting Kansas City and Minnesota meet. While the hosts are searching for their first win of the season, the visitors are looking to pick up a third successive win having recently beaten both CF Montreal and the San Jose Earthquakes.
After what was clearly a disappointing campaign in 2024, the SKC boys will be looking to improve this season. So far, they've not really delivered any improvement, at least not in terms of results, with Saturday's hosts losing each of their three MLS games so far this season. However, their lastg couple of efforts have been better, so could Peter Vermes' men finally get a positive result?
As far as the Loons are concerned, the 2025 season is going well. Sure, they lost during the opening weekend, but most teams can be forgiven for losing narrowly away to LAFC, while they've since bounced back, winning two out of two. Not only have they won each of their last two, but they'll head to Kansas City off the back of consecutive clean sheets too.
