Southampton, who are virtually relegated, will want to make significant improvements in defence ahead of next season. They have conceded 54 goals in the first 24 Premier League games and no team in Europe's top five has conceded more. The Saints are set to host Iraola's excellent Bournemouth on Saturday, who have only lost one of their last 14 games. Earlier this season in Matchday 6, Bournemouth beat Southampton 3-1 at the Vitality Stadium with first-half goals from Evanilson, Ouattara and Semeyo.
