In Europe, there are some huge FIFA World Cup Qualifiers due to take place. A handful of hopefuls will fight it out to fill the few remaining places at what is expected to be the biggest soccer event the world has ever seen. On Thursday, in the city of Bratislava, Slovakia and Kosovo will do battle. During the primary qualification campaign, it looked for a while that the Slovaks would beat the Germans to top spot. However, a 6-0 defeat in Germany meant that the Francesco Calzona's men had to settle for second spot. 

For the Kosovans, it was a similar story during the primary campaign, as the Eastern European minnows outclassed both the Swedes and the Slovenians, but were just outlasted by the Swiss, who topped the group. Like Thursday's opponents, they showed plenty of promise to finish second in a very decent group, so much so that they really cannot be written off here. In fact, having not lost in five, it is the visitors who have more momentum behind them, while in Vedat Muriqi, they have one of Europe's most dangerous scorers leading their offensive line.

Given how strong he has been in front of goal this season, and in a top league too, Vedat Muriqi is impossible to ignore as long as odds of +300 are on offer. Realistically, the big Kosovan could easily be priced at +200 here, so +300 really does look sizable to my value-seeking eyes. Let's be honest, the Slovaks are far from strong at the back, while we know that this Kosovo team can create chances for the physically imposing forward. 

Muriqi will go into this huge game having scored nine goals in his last 12 starts at club level, while it's not as if his goals dry up at international level, with the LaLiga forward scoring four goals in his last seven for Kosovo.
