The Seattle Storm (20-18) visit the Indiana Fever (19-18) on Tuesday, August 26, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
This is the third time that the Fever and Storm will face each other this season. The Fever have won the first two games by an average winning margin of 6 points.
However, an injury bug has bitten the Fever at this point of the season. Superstar guard Caitlin Clark is still nursing a groin injury, and is expected to return on September 2. Moreover, key players like Sophie Cunningham and Aari McDonald are ruled out for the remainder of the season as well.
As expected, their injury-riddled lineup has failed to produced results. They've lost four of their last five games, including recent back-to-back defeats to the Minnesota Lynx. The Fever are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, but they definitely need Clark's all-around prowess soon.
