After an exciting Game 1 sold-out game between the Mariners and Giants, the series will conclude on Sunday afternoon in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Giants started 2025 on the right foot, winning most of their games on the road, as they strive this season to keep up with the Dodgers and Padres.

Two pitchers with excellent starts to the season will each make their second start on Sunday. Pitching for the Giants will be Jordan Hicks, who earned his first W of the season in an excellent outing against the Astros in Houston. Hicks increased his sinker velocity by nearly 4 mph compared to last season, having thrown 48 times against the Astros.

However, Woo also had a solid start to the season. The right-hander pitched 6 innings against the Athletics, allowing only 3 hits, striking out 5, and also earning his first win of the season. Along with Gilbert, Miller, and Kirby, Woo appears to be establishing himself as another dominant Mariners starter. Even with the unexpected offensive display in Game 1 between the Mariners and Giants, bookmakers are reluctant to raise the Game Total line of 7.5 runs.
