The Seattle Mariners will try to end their three-game losing streak today when they take on the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. First pitch for this interleague matchup is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. EST.

Seattle came into the series having lost their last two vs. the Mets and four of their last five. They were never really in yesterday's game vs. the Phillies, falling behind by seven before getting on the board with four in the top of the seventh. But Philadelphia answered with four in the bottom half of the inning. Down 12-4 going into the top of the ninth, the Mariners made a valiant attempt to get back in the game, but only added three to make the final 12-7. Bryce Miller is set to come off the IL today to start for the Mariners. Miller is 2-5 in ten starts with a 5.73 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and .278 OBA. He’s gone 1-3 in five road starts with a 6.38 ERA and .309 OBA. Philadelphia is expected to give the ball to Cristopher Sanchez to start the day. Sanchez is 11-4 in 24 starts with a 2.45 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and .227 OBA. In ten home starts, he’s gone 5-0 with a 2.33 ERA and .202 OBA.
