The New York Yankees will go for the series sweep today when they face the Seattle Mariners in the final game of a three-game series at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY. Fans can follow the action once the game gets underway at 7:05 p.m. EST and can watch it via the MLB Network.

New York ran away with the first game of the series, scoring ten runs before the Mariners even got on the board. Game 2 of the series (yesterday_ was a bit more competitive, but once again, the Yankees never trailed en route to a 9-6 win.

However, Yankee fans may not want to hold their breath while hoping for a win. They do not have a favorable pitching matchup. Seattle is starting the day with Bryan Woo. Woo is 8-4 in 17 starts with a 2.77 ERA and .96 WHIP/ .212 OBA. However, he doesn’t seem to have his ‘A’ game all too often on the road. He is 4-3 in ten road starts with a 3.47 ERA and a .239 OBA.  He pitched against the Yankees earlier in the year (May 13), going 6 1/3 innings, giving up four hits and no runs. As for New York, Marcus Stroman is set to start the day; he has a 7.45 ERA and 1.66 WHIP.
