Seattle is coming off a loss in its last game on Monday, April 13, 5-3 vs. the Kings in Los Angeles. It was their seventh loss in the Kraken’s last ten games.
Whether the Knights have something to play for in this game will depend on the outcome of Tuesday night’s Anaheim Ducks vs. Minnesota Wild game. If the Ducks lose in any fashion, the Golden Knights will have home ice advantage in the first round. This is a game the Golden Knights should win. Even if they do not need to, don’t be shocked if Vegas decides to head to the postseason on a high note and notch its first win over Seattle this season. Yes, the Kraken took down Vegas at home just last week. But I think they’ll see a different Golden Knights squad in this game. I expect Vegas to win, but since there is no value in betting the moneyline (-285), I’ll take them to cover.
