The Seattle Kraken will make their third stop on a four-game road trip on Saturday, facing the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena.
The road trip has produced mixed results for Seattle so far. The team lost to the Detroit Red Wings 4-2 on Tuesday night, but Thursday's 3-2 win against the Chicago Blackhawks will give Lane Lambert's side some momentum heading into Saturday's game.
Seattle had a tough time keeping up with Chicago for most of the night, but they stunned the hosts by scoring three goals in the third period. Lambert's team has been averaging only 2.70 goals per game this season, making this turn of events at the United Center very unexpected.
The Kraken also allow 2.70 goals per game, and on Saturday night, they face another good defensive team. The Penguins have recorded three shutouts this season and boast a 2.47 goals-against average.
