The New York Islanders look to continue their push for the Metropolitan Division top spot on Sunday at the USB Arena against the Seattle Kraken.

Roy experienced a challenging beginning to the season with his team. However, after a successful stretch of away games, the Islanders’ outlook has significantly improved. They entered the weekend just two points behind the Metropolitan Division leaders, the New Jersey Devils.
The Kraken are also in contention for a divisional title, sitting just two points behind the Anaheim Ducks in the Pacific Division. New head coach Lane Lambert has built his game plan around a solid defense, which has led to a lot of early-season success for the Kraken.
Seattle has beaten the Pacific Division big guns, Vegas and Edmonton, and two of the team's 10 victories have come against reigning Presidents' Trophy holders, the Winnipeg Jets.
The Kraken have been on a rise despite struggling on the penalty kill. Entering this weekend's action, the team ranked third from bottom in the NHL with its penalty-killing percentage of 69.6.
