Calgary Flames (5-7-0) will look to return to winning ways when they host Seattle Kraken (8-4-1) on Friday night at Scotiabank Saddledome. The Flames were thumped 4-0 by the Oilers on Wednesday, ending their four-game winning streak. To make the loss even more painful, they lost Brennan Othmann and Devin Cooley to injuries. However, their main concern was the offense, which went quiet that night. The Flames are the -105 betting underdogs tonight.
Seattle Kraken, on the other hand, will hit the ice as the -120 betting favorites tonight. They managed to bounce back from their 1-5 defeat to the Wild at home after edging out Toronto 5-4 on Wednesday night. The Kraken left it late to clinch the win after Brandon Montour scored with 32 seconds remaining to hand them the three points. Gavin McKenna also got his first two-goal league game. They’ll need to be more efficient on offense to defeat the Flames tonight.
