The Flames, currently enduring a disappointing start to the season, have dropped three consecutive games and sit near the bottom of the Western Conference standings. Their offensive struggles have been particularly glaring, with Calgary scoring just two goals combined in their last three losses.
Even when they manage to outshoot opponents, they rarely come away with victories, pointing to problems with shot quality, finishing, and timely defensive lapses. The Flames' power play has also been among the league's worst, hovering near the bottom in both conversion rate and total goals.
