The Minnesota Twins will host the San Francisco Giants for a three-game series this weekend, with Game 1 scheduled for today at Target Field in Minneapolis at 8:10 p.m. EST. Fans will be able to follow the game as it plays out on Apple TV.

Chicago is fresh off a three-game series vs. the Cubs in Chicago, where they took two out of three, including the series finale on Wednesday, 3-1. Giants starter Robbie Ray led the way with six innings of work, allowing three hits and a run while walking two and striking out five. As for Minnesota, the Twins finished up a series sweep of the visiting Orioles with a 5-2 win over Baltimore yesterday. Minnesota outscored the Orioles 19-5 across the three games. Minnesota will give the ball to Chris Paddack to start the day. Paddack is 0-3 this season in seven starts with a 5.57 ERA. He averages fewer than five hits a game but has yet to go past five innings.  San Francisco is scheduled to start Jordan Hicks.  He started the season with a great outing vs. the Astros (six innings, one hit, no runs, two walks, and six strikeouts). But things have gone downhill since; he is 1-3 in seven starts with a 6.03 ERA.
