The Reds (11-7, 6-5 Home) will go for their first home series sweep Thursday afternoon when they host the San Francisco Giants at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, OH. Fans can watch the action unfold via ESPN Unlimited once the game gets underway at 12:40 p.m. EST.

Game One of the series on Monday was a tight one, but the Reds came away with the win, 2-1. Tuesday’s game wasn’t nearly as competitive as the Reds got out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning, and never looked back. San Francisco recorded a pair in the top of the second, but the Reds added three more in the bottom half. The Giants closed out the scoring in the seventh with one run, making the final 8-3, Cincinnati.

San Francisco will send Landen Roupp to start the day. Roupp has a 2-1 record with a 3.24 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP. He pitched six two-hit shutout innings in his first start and only allowed a single run in his last start. But in his second, the Mets hit him hard, recording just 4 2/3 innings while giving up seven hits and five earned runs.

As for the Reds, Cincinnati will turn to Chase Burns to start. Burns is 1-1 in three starts, with two solid outings to start the season, but he got roughed up in his last outing. He gave up seven hits, four walks, two home runs, and five earned runs in a 10-2 loss to the Angels.
