Cleveland Browns vs San Francisco 49ers Prediction & Picks - NFL

The San Francisco 49ers will try to make it three in a row this week when they go on the road to play the Cleveland Browns. Kickoff at Huntington Bank Field is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST, and fans can watch the action unfold on CBS.

San Francisco is 2-0 since Brock Purdy’s return, but it hasn’t been pretty for the 49ers. Purdy went 19-26 for 200 yards and three touchdowns against the Cardinals, but struggled against a mediocre Panthers defense, going 23-32 for 193 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. Luckily, the defense stepped up and locked down the Panthers' offense. As for the Browns, the offense has been dreadful all year long, but didn’t look terrible last week in Shedeur Sanders’ first start. Now, he didn’t exactly blow up against a dreadful Raiders defense, but besides the one pick, he didn’t do anything to lose the game for the Browns. It will, of course, be a lot tougher for him this week, going up against the 49ers' defense. But if the Browns' defense plays up to its usual standard, Sanders may not need to do a lot on offense to pull out a win.
