The New York Mets (56-69, 28-34 Home) will try to keep the momentum going this week after sweeping the Washington Nationals over the weekend when they host the San Diego Padres (67-58, 30-32 Away) at Citi Field in Queens, NY. First Pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. EST with coverage by MLB.TV.
Both teams will actually come into this series feeling like they have some momentum. The Mets just completed a sweep of the Nats, and the Padres have won seven of their last eight games.
Nolan McLean is scheduled to get the start for the Mets. McLean has gone 8-8 in 24 starts this season with a 3.42 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP. Teams have been hitting .210 against him. However, he has not had his best stuff at home, where he is 2-6 in 12 starts with a 4.19 ERA and a .234 OBA.
As for the Padres, San Diego is scheduled to start Walker Buehler. He has gone 7-5 in 24 starts with a 4.88 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP. Teams have hit .261 against him. Buehler has not been at his best on the road this season (11 starts) with a 5.47 ERA and a .275 OBA.

In a game that appears somewhat evenly matched, the best bet is the one with the most value.
