Arizona Diamondbacks host San Diego Padres for the third match in their four-game series in the MLB. Diamondbacks won the first matchup 5-1, though Padres impressively came back to win the second game 9-4. Diamondbacks and Padres sit in second and third spot respectively in the National League West, with very little difference in their Pct, Home and Away records. On home turf, Arizona has a record of 32-23, with an overall Pct of .526. As for San Diego, their away record stands at 27-30 and overall, Padres has a Pct of .518.

It's been a thoroughly enjoyable series so far! Some great baseball played and a good number of runs scored. For this third installment, we're expecting runs galore once again. Padres head into this one in better form than their opponents. Of their last six, San Diego has won four of them and possess a Last 10 record of 8-2. Diamondbacks also has won four and lost two of their last six and have a Last 10 record of 5-5. 

While it's been a great series, it's been difficult to predict the winner. Instead, our prediction is based on the Over/Under market and we're specifically looking at the Diamondbacks. Regardless of the result, we're expecting Diamondbacks to score a few runs, especially with the number they've scored in their last two games against San Diego.
