The Portland Trail Blazers (8-16) host the San Antonio Spurs (12-12) Friday night, with neither team having a lot of success this season. The Spurs are at .500, 11th in the Western, but that's still better than the .333 held by Portland. San Antonio hope to show that their recent win against the New Orleans Pelicans was more than just a fluke, but it won't be easy. They're playing without rookie standout Stephon Castle, as well as Zach Collins, Keldon Johnson, and Tre Jones. If there's any consolation, it's that the Trail Blazers may also see key players on the bench - DeAndre Ayton, Donovan Clingan, and Matisse Thybulle are all dealing with injuries. The good news for Portland is that they could see the return of Robert Williams III, who's been out the last six contests due to a concussion suffered in the Trail Blazers' loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
