San Antonio Spurs, meanwhile, started the season with a 92-125 statement win over Dallas Mavericks. They looked highly motivated with the return of Victor Wembanyama, who bagged 40 points and 15 rebounds. Stephon Castle also had a great night after contributing 22 points and seven rebounds.
