The Lakers look to keep their strong start going when they host the Spurs on Wednesday. They are coming off an impressive 112-108 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, where they erased a seven-point halftime deficit behind LeBron James’ late go-ahead three.
Along with LeBron's heroics, Luka Doncic also came through with a triple-double performance of 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists.
It has been a lukewarm stretch for the Lakers, as they lost two of their last five games. This recent road win against the Sixers should be a morale booster for the team.
As for the Spurs, they’ve won four of their last five games and are fresh off a wild 135-132 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. San Antonio built a 20-point halftime lead, then nearly collapsed in the third quarter before rookie Dylan Harper’s go-ahead floater with nine seconds left sealed the win.
Harper finished with 22 markers, reinforcing veteran forward Harrison Barnes, who had a team-high 24.
