It’s Roma’s turn to host league-counterparts Bologna this Thursday in the Europa League, taking place at Stadio Olimpico in the capital city. The pair come into this game on a level playing field having tied 1-1 in the first leg.

Thanks to a fantastic side-foot finish from Federico Bernardeschi, Bologna began the scoreline with a 1-0 lead. However, some scrappy defending and goalkeeping resulted in Roma equalizing 20 minutes later. 

I Rossiblu were very fortunate not to give away another goal with a similar scenario, though this time hitting the post. Bologna also hit the woodwork ten minutes later. This was a well-balanced meeting, so we should expect both sides to fancy themselves to earn their place in the quarter-finals. 

Bologna have the upper-hand in terms of recent results, winning 0-1 on the road last time out, owing to an extremely early goal.
