Two teams that have made superb starts to the Serie A season clash at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night, as Roma host Atalanta in a mouthwatering matchup.
Toma have opened the new campaign with back-to-back 4-0 victories over Lecce and Fiorentina. Donyell Malen has been the star of the show with five goals, but in truth, it has been a team effort from I Giallorossi, and although the season is still in its infancy, Gian Piero Gasperini's side look well equipped to compete at the top end of the table.
Atalanta's opening two victories have been far less convincing than Roma's, but Maurizio Sarri's side have shown excellent resolve to overcome Bologna and Sassuolo. That resolve was also evident in Atalanta's 1-0 aggregate playoff victory over Tel Aviv, which was secured thanks to a late second leg strike from Gianluca Scamacca.
