Carlos Alcaraz returns to the courts of the US Open in good form. Since the clay season began, the year has taken a favorable turn for Alcaraz, the former world #1 Spaniard, who made the 2025 season his most successful in terms of titles, with the Asian tour still to come. His victories were in Cincinnati, London, the French Open, Rome, Monte Carlo, and Rotterdam.
Even so, Alcaraz will face a different challenge, as this is the first time he has faced the tallest player on the circuit and also the most powerful server, Reilly Opelka.
