On Friday night, almost at midnight, Puebla will be playing Guadalajara at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium in the 11th round of the Liga MX. The betting experts are listing Chivas as the favorite, although the bookmakers don't give them an implied probability of more than 50% to win; the odds for a Chivas victory are +110.

Chivas had been putting together a decent season of dangerous plays, but most of them usually don't end in goals. At least, that was true until they finally had a clear game against Necaxa, in which Chivas, with five shots, scored three goals through González, Sandoval, and Inda. They got that much-needed victory that leaves them on the verge of the play-in, one point behind León.

Before the match against Necaxa, Chivas faced the heavyweight and current dominator of Mexican soccer, Toluca. The Red Devils took advantage of Chivas' poor breaks, and three of Toluca's two goals came from counterattacks.

Meanwhile, Puebla drew 2-2 against Pachuca in the penultimate matchday; it has been a one-win tournament for them so far.
