Both the Fire and the Sparks are reeling from their respective losing skids. They're looking at Sunday's matchup as a springboard to get into the win column again.
The Sparks have been struggling recently, losing their last three games, including a 104-96 loss to the Dallas Wings. It was actually a winnable game for the Sparks, as they led by four after the opening period. But the Sparks' offense sputtered a bit in the fourth quarter.
The bright spot in that game was the return of Kelsey Plum, who finished with a team-high 27 points on 10-16 shooting.
