The Milwaukee Brewers will try to make it three in a row when they face the Pittsburgh Pirates in the final game of a four-game series. Fans can follow the action at American Family Field once the game gets underway at 2:10 p.m. EST on MLB.TV.

It has been a relatively low-scoring series so far, with the Pirates winning the opener on Monday, 4-3. But the Brewers took the game yesterday and Tuesday by the same score, 4-2.

The newly acquired Dustin May is scheduled to make his first start for the Brewers. His season stats aren’t encouraging. May is 5-7 in 21 starts with a 4.38 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. But he pitched five shutout innings in his last start for the Cardinals and allowed two runs or fewer in four of his last five starts.

As for Pittsburgh, the Pirates are scheduled to give Braxton Ashcroft the start. Ashcroft is 11-4 in 22 starts with a 3.96 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP. On the road, he has gone 6-3 in 11 starts with a 4.02 ERA and a .242 OBA. He did not do so well in his last start against the Brewers (July 11); he pitched five innings, gave up five hits and five runs with two walks and six strikeouts.
