The St. Louis Blues will hope to give their fans something to cheer about in their final home game of the season on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Enterprise Center.
St. Louis has nothing but pride left to play for after a poor start to the season cost the team a playoff berth. It took the Blues until Dec. 6 to reach 10 wins. The second half of the campaign has gone much better for them, and backing Jim Montgomery’s team has been very profitable over the last couple of months.
The Blues returned from the Olympic break with a bang, beating the Seattle Kraken on home ice 5-1, and they have been a top 10 team over the final stretch. St. Louis has posted a 14-5-3 record post-Olympics, tying them for the seventh-most points over that span with 31.
The Penguins have also been strong since the Olympics, earning 28 points. Their high-level performance means that Sidney Crosby’s squad has already locked up a playoff spot with several games to spare.
Currently, Pittsburgh’s only goal is to remain healthy for the postseason. As a result, key players, including Crosby, were rested over the weekend during a home-and-home set against Washington. It is also likely to happen on Tuesday, giving the Blues a significant edge.

Our St. Louis Blues vs Pittsburgh Penguins Prediction
St. Louis will finish off a back-to-back set here, having faced a matchup against the Minnesota Wild on Monday. This will make things a bit tough for them. However, they are likely to meet a weakened Penguins squad.
Pittsburgh is already focused on the playoffs and likely won’t go all-out for the win. They will be cautious to avoid any injuries that might derail their bid for the Stanley Cup. In this situation, the Blues have a good opportunity to send their fans home happy with a victory in their final home outing.
Our prediction for St. Louis Blues vs. Pittsburgh Penguins: Blues to win.
