The Dallas Stars (19-5-5) are trailing the Avalanche by just 1 point for the lead in the Central Division. The two teams will meet on Sunday evening in Dallas.
The Penguins have won 4 of their last 5, including 2 straight over Philly and Tampa Bay. The 83 goals they have scored on the season put them in a respectable 14th place in the league, but the 71 they have allowed is more impressive.
