The New York Mets will try to keep their home win streak alive when they face the Philadelphia Phillies in Game Two of a three-game series today at Citi Field in Queens, NY. Fans can follow the action on TBS when the game gets underway at 7:10 p.m. EST.
New York got to Phillies starter Aaron Nola early in Monday’s game, tagging him for a run in the first and second innings. They added two more off him in the bottom of the seventh and a fifth run off reliever Jose Ruiz. Philly nearly made a game of it with four runs off the Mets' bullpen in the top of the ninth, but Edwin Diaz was able to close out the game and secure the Mets' fifth consecutive win at home. Cristopher Sanchez will get the start today for the Phillies. Sanchez is off to a solid start this year, having gone 2-0 in four starts, with the wins coming in his last two, and an ERA of 2.96. He’s faced members of the Mets lineup in 100 at-bats; they’ve hit .220 against him. New York will give Griffin Canning the ball to start the game. Canning is 2-1 on the year in four starts with a 3.43 ERA.

This should be a great baseball game; the kind you want to see on TV. On paper, this game could easily go either way, but I’m going with a home team that is 10-1 in its own stadium.
