Without a doubt, the hottest midweek series in MLB is the one that brings together two of the most successful teams of the month, both leading their respective divisions: the Phillies and the Astros. The Phillies' pitching is characterized by their high strikeouts per nine innings, and in the first of the series, Wheeler continued to be part of that, striking out five Astros in his first four innings on Wednesday.
