After winning the first two games of this series, the Philadelphia Phillies (56-29) look to finish the sweep of the Chicago Cubs (39-47). In game one, Trea Turner launched 2 home runs to be the hero while fellow All-Star, Alec Bohm put one out in game two. While the Phillies avoided blowing their lead in game one, they needed to come from behind to steal game two. Without stars Bryce Harper, JT Realmuto, and Kyle Schwarber; The Phillies should be primed for a losing streak but instead are looking to extend their winning streak to 4 games here. The Cubs have lost eight of their last 10 games and will have their hands full trying to avoid this sweep. They will have Christopher Sanchez (6-3, 2.41) of the Phillies, who is coming off a complete game shutout of the Marlins in his last start. The Cubs will look to Jameson Taillon (4-4, 3.03) to stop the bleeding in this one. His is coming off his 4th loss of the season which came against the Brewers. He pitched 6 innings and allowed 3 earned runs on 4 hits. He will look to get back to his form in the previous 3 starts where he allowed just 3 earned over his previous 19 innings of work.
