The Braves looked on course for a 2-0 series win when they opened up a 3-1 lead at the bottom of the seventh in Game Two. However, solo homers from Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber in the eighth drew the Phillies level, before a tenth inning homer from Alec Bohm gave the visitors a lead they would not relinquish.
Game One was also a dramatic contest, as a three run homer from Braves baseman Austin Riley in the eighth turned the game on its head and gave Atlanta a 5-3 victory.
Both teams have big decisions to make regarding their starting pitchers on Thursday night. The Braves need to decide whether to use Grant Holmes as their starter or in relief of either Brent Suter or Ray Kerr. Meanwhile, the Phillies have to decide whether to give Aaron Nola or Zach Wheeler the start.
