The Philadelphia Eagles will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard this week when they head out to the West Coast to take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. Gametime at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. EST.

Philadelphia comes into the game in control of the NFC East, but losers of their last two games (vs. the Cowboys and Bears). After getting out to a 21-point lead early in the second quarter vs. the Cowboys, they were outscored 24-0 the rest of the way. Against the Bears, the offense never really got on track as the Chicago offense dictated the pace of the game; a late fourth-quarter touchdown made the final score look closer than the game really was. As for the Chargers, they’ve had some issues in recent weeks, but the big concern this week is the health of QB Justin Herbert, who recently had surgery on his non-throwing hand. He has been limited in practice this week and is considered questionable for Monday’s game. If he doesn’t go, Trey Lance would get the start, which would undoubtedly lead to a run-heavy approach for the game against an Eagles defense that will be down one of its best players in Jalen Carter.
