The Minnesota Timberwolves (35-22, 20-10 Home) will try to keep the good times rolling when they host the Philadelphia 76ers (30-26, 15-11 Away) Sunday at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. Fans can follow the action on NBA League Pass once the game gets underway at 7 p.m. EST.
Minnesota won its last two before the break and took down the Dallas Mavericks in its first game last Friday, post-All-Star Break. After getting out to a 40-25 lead after the first quarter, they essentially coasted the rest of the way as the Mavericks won the second and third quarter, closing the gap to eight points heading into the fourth, which the T-Wolves won 26-23 to make the final 122-111. As for the 76ers, Philly took a two-game losing streak into the break, and it has since become a four-game losing streak since play resumed. Losing Paul George to a suspension doesn’t help, and Joel Embiid has been out with an injury. His status still says ‘OUT’ from Saturday’s game in New Orleans, but his expected return is listed as February 22. Tyrese Maxey could certainly use the help.
This is the first of two games scheduled between these two teams this season.

Even if Embiid plays, Minnesota has more firepower than the 76ers can deal with.
