It will be the 1st meeting of the season between the Orlando Magic (29-25) and the Phoenix Suns (32-24) on Saturday evening. The Suns are currently 2nd in the Western Conference Pacific Division, while the Magic are in the top spot of the Eastern Conference Southeast Division.
The Suns stumbled into the All-Star break having lost 4 of their last 6 games. Things did not get any better on Thursday night in their 1st game back. They were dominated by the Spurs in a 121-94 loss. Devin Booker played just 8 minutes after developing some hip soreness and is currently day-to-day. With Booker’s status up in the air, it could be up to role players like Goodwin and Dunn to step up in his absence.
Orlando had a stronger stretch heading into their break. They won 3 of their last 4 games and added to that on Thursday with a 131-94 win over Sacramento. After trailing by 10 in the 1st quarter, the Magic exploded in the 2nd to take a 9-point lead into the half. From there, it was all Magic in the 2nd half. Paolo Banchero finished with 30, while the Magic got double-digit scoring from 4 of their bench players.
If Booker is out for this game, it will be a tall task for the Suns to overcome this hot Magic team. That said, it will not be the 1st time the Suns have been without Booker this season and have found ways to win in his absence.

If Booker is out, that number gets way worse since he has a 2-1 ratio himself. The Magic are playing good team basketball, and that should carry them once again here on the road against the Suns.
