The Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers, deep in a race for better playoff seeding, will face off on Friday night in the City of Brotherly Love. Wells Fargo Center’s inhabitants will be happy to hear both the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls lost their last games, giving Philadelphia (45-35) a cushion from the Play-In Tournament. Orlando (46-34) is just one game ahead of their opponents however, and as such both will have a lot to play for. Franz Wagner, Gary Harris, and Jonathan Isaac are all out for Friday’s game, with the latter two sat for rest reasons. Tyrese Maxey and Kyle Lowry will remain out for Philadelphia with injuries. The 76ers have won six on the bounce, albeit to lesser competition in Detroit and San Antonio most recently. Orlando has dropped their last two to eliminate them from a top-3 seed, but home court advantage in the first round still remains possible if Cleveland stutters in the next few days.
