Olympiacos and Pafos FC meet in the Champions League in a game that sees two teams with very differing pasts and recent performances. Olympiacos enter this contest in good heart after a positive opening to their Greek Super League campaign. Their campaign at home has been that of consistency, with several easy wins that not only reflected their strength in attack, but also demonstrated solidity at the back.

A string of clean sheets in recent weeks has given them the platform to call the shots and dictate tempo. Similarly, in strike force, they've been unforgiving, taking chances at the right time and exposing opponents at the back in early games. The combination of scoring power and defensive resilience has made them one of Greece's mightiest clubs, and now they'd like to transfer that power onto the continental scene.

Pafos, by contrast, get to this level as outsiders. The qualifying campaign has been excellent, as they've overcome teams more experienced in Europe. That being said, playing against a veteran continental side like Olympiacios is a completely different test, and Pafos will need to remain in focus in every aspect in order to hold their own.
