In a game that could be a preview of the NBA Finals, the Thunder take on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Easter Sunday. The Knicks hold the 4th spot in the East while the Thunder are tied with Minnesota for the top spot in the West. The Thunder are sitting at 10-4 during the month of March and are coming off a home win over the Phoenix Suns 128-103. Josh Giddey led the way ith 23 points and added 7 boards and 9 assists in a complete game for the Thunder who were without leading scorer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. SAG is likely to sit this one out as well as he is still dealing with an illness. The Knicks have won 7 of their last 10 but are coming off a tough loss in San Antonio on Friday night. Despite Jalen Brunson putting up an eye-popping 61 points, they were unable to contain Victor Wembanyama, who posted 40 points and 20 boards. Donte DiVincenzo chipped in with 20 points on 6-12 shooting from long range but only he and Josh Hart (12pts) were able to reach double-figures. Brunson will certainly need more help in this one against the visiting Thunder if they plan on defending their home floor.

The Knicks have not had much success against the Western Conference teams this season. OKC along with Minnesota are atop the Western Conference standings and are primed to take this one away on the road. Outside of Brunson and DiVincenzo, the Knicks have struggled to have a serious 3rd scorer emerge with Julius Randle on the shelf. SGA and the young Thunder should be able to pick up this road win.
