Ange Postecoglou's first home game as Notts Forest manager is a tricky test against in-form Sunderland. After losing his first two games in the City hot seat, Postecoglou steadied the ship somewhat with a 1-1 draw at Burnley last week. Nevertheless, the City Ground faithful will be expecting nothing less than three points on Saturday, as Forest look to climb the table following an extremely difficult start to the season.
Sunderland will be absolutely delighted with their return to the top flight so far. Sunday's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa (a result achieved despite playing the last hour with ten men) means that Régis Le Bris' side have picked up a highly impressive eight points from their opening five fixtures. Goalkeeper Robin Roefs has been the Black Cats' star man so far, but a host of other new signings, including Granit Xhaka, Wilson Isidor and Simon Adingra, have also impressed, raising hopes that Sunderland could spend the season clear of any relegation trouble.
