But Notre Dame has had a few hiccups along the way so far. They took their first loss early in their nonconference schedule, falling to No. 14 Michigan 93-54. But they bounced back with a win over No. 11 USC in their next game, 61-59. With a loss to No. 9 Louisville in their last game, 79-66, their record fell to 12-5 on the year and 4-3 in conference play. They had only two conference losses last season. As for UConn, the Huskies are as dominant as ever. No. 6 Michigan gave them a run for their money early on, but they still pulled out the win 72-69. No one else has come close to potentially beating UConn.
