This friendly match is shaping up to be a real battle! Having qualified for their first World Cup, the Norwegian national team hosts Sweden in a match that serves as preparation for the tournament. Naturally, the Norwegians will be looking to secure a strong result so they can arrive in top form on American soil. For example, the draw against Switzerland and the loss to the Netherlands need to be quickly put behind them by Stale Solbakken and his men. Martin Odegaard won’t be in the lineup, but Erling Haaland is looking to get his June goal tally started this Monday night. One thing is certain: the Lions’ level of play in recent months has been more reassuring than that of their opponents.
