The Yankees' pitching started more dominantly than ever, an encouraging start for diehard fans. Schlitter struck out 8, recorded 16 outs, and issued no walks. Then Judge broke his strikeout streak with a towering home run to left field, his first of 2026, driving in Goldschmidt.

Furthermore, the Chisholm-Caballero duo guarantees speed on the bases and, with occasional power at the plate, adds an interesting dynamic to the lineup. The Giants' offense seems to have forgotten the season has started, and the Yankees are looking for a sweep.
