The Chicago White Sox (29-91) will play game two in New York against the Yankees (70-50) tonight. Last night, as monster underdogs, the White Sox posted 12 runs and won the game 12-2. Ky Bush somehow only allowed 2 runs over 4.2 innings while walking 7 batters. The bullpen came in and did the rest of the work by holding this strong Yankee lineup to just 3 hits while striking out 5 batters over the last 4.1 innings. Andrew Vaughn went 4-5 with two doubles and scored twice while Gavin Sheets went 4-5 with 3 doubles and 4 RBIs. Luis Gil pitched just 4 innings and allowed 4 runs picking up his 6th loss of the season. However, the latter part of the damage was done on Enyel De Los Santos who gave up 7 runs on 8 hits over just 1.2 innings of work. Tonight, the Yankees hope that Nestor Cortes (5-10, 4.42) will be able to keep this typically weaker CWS lineup under wraps. Chicago will have Jonathan Cannon (2-5, 3.91) on the mound for them. Cannon is coming off 6 strong innings against the Athletics where he allowed just 1 run on 6 hits.
